Choosing a Custom Logo Mat for a Business Entrance

What to think through before specifying a custom logo mat for an entrance or reception floor.

A logo mat extends a brand identity into the one part of a commercial space every visitor physically touches. A few things are worth thinking through before requesting a quote.

Placement

Entrance mats sit in the transition zone just inside (or outside) the door — the first floor surface a visitor crosses. Reception-area mats sit closer to the front desk. Placement affects both the size and the traffic the mat needs to handle, so let us know where it will actually go.

Traffic and cleaning

Commercial-use requirements — expected foot traffic, cleaning routine, exposure to spills or weather at an exterior entrance — are reviewed against the space as part of the project, rather than assumed from a generic spec.

Artwork at floor scale and viewing angle

A logo viewed from above and at an angle can read differently than the same logo on a vertical sign. Fine detail is reviewed for how it will look at the mat’s actual size and viewing angle.

What to send us

Logo artwork, the approximate floor area or desired size, a photo of the entrance or reception area if you have one, and your quantity, location and deadline.
